Meet Lewis

Lewis is a gorgeous smiley 5 year old boy from Southampton. Unfortunately and unfairly Lewis has multiple life limiting health problems which include:
Severe Quadraplegic Dystonic Cerebral Palsy
Severe gastric problems
Epilepsy
Gastro Oesphaegel Reflux Disease
Gross Development Delay
Periventricular Leukomalacia
Early myopia
Pancreatic Agenesis
Borderline diabetes.
he spends a lot of time in hospital due to the complications that he has, spent his 5th birthday week in hospital undergoing test, and is currently very poorly in hospital as we write this (23/7/2013).
He is fed via a Gastro-Jejunostomy PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastro - jejunostomy) which feeds him directly into his small bowel due to an unsafe swallow & severe gastric irritation. He is attached to a feed pump for 16 hours a day. He is full of love and laughter, yet cannot live life the way we would all like him to. He is unable to sit, walk or talk but he is such an amazing little man.
